This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of The Gulf of
Mexico and The Laguna Madre.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Marine conditions will quickly decline later this afternoon behind
a strong cold frontal boundary. Winds up to 30kts and seas as high
as 9 feet can be expected. Some wind gusts up to gale force can`t
be ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Strong north winds and large waves will prevail through the week
in the wake of a cold front. Showers and thunderstorms will
contribute to hazardous marine conditions through the upcoming
workweek.

Spotter activation will not be needed.

...FIRST STRONG COLD FRONT OF THE SEASON TO BRING AN EXTENDED
PERIOD OF HAZARDOUS MARINE CONDITIONS...

.A strong cold front will barrel through the coastal waters on
Monday bringing strong north winds and building seas. The front
should reach the northern waters by noon on Monday and the
southern waters a few hours later.

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 7 AM
CDT TUESDAY...

* WINDS...North at 20 to 25 knots, with frequent gusts up to 30
  knots. A few gusts to gale force will be possible.

* WAVES/SEAS...Building to 5 to 7 feet nearshore, and 7 to 9
  feet offshore.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 20 to 33 knots
are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
Inexperienced mariners...especially those operating smaller
vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.
