.NOW...
Through 10 am, widespread, mainly stratiform showers and isolated
thunderstorms ahead of a cold front will push through the Florida
Keys island chain as well as the adjacent nearshore and offshore
coastal waters. This activity will move generally to the east at near
25 knots. Mariners encounters this activity can expect wind gusts
near 30 knots, moderate to heavy downpours reducing visibility, and a
few cloud to surface lightning strikes. Island communities can
expect up to a tenth of an inch of rainfall.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Florida Keys and
adjacent coastal waters.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A late season cold front is bringing a threat for isolated to
scattered thunderstorms this morning and will continue through
the early afternoon. The main hazards will be frequent lightning,
heavy rainfall, and locally gusty winds. In addition, behind the
frontal passage strong breezes will surge across the region
beginning late this morning. As such a Small Craft Advisory is in
effect for the deep Gulf waters with Small Craft Advisory
conditions expected across the remaining waters by this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Fresh to strong breezes will continue into Friday with additional
Small Craft Advisories likely.

Otherwise, no other hazardous weather expected at this time.
