THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE FLORIDA KEYS AND ADJACENT
COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for the coastal waters of the
Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic due to sustained northeast to east
surface winds near 20 knots.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

A Small Craft Advisory will likely be required for the coastal
waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Saturday and Saturday
night. A Small Craft Advisory will likely be required for the
coastal waters of the Florida Straits Sunday. A Small Craft
Advisory may be required for the coastal waters of the Florida
Straits Sunday night.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible along the Florida Keys, as
well as over nearshore and offshore waters surrounding the island
chain Saturday through Wednesday. The primary thunderstorm hazard
will be cloud to surface lightning strikes.

A Small Craft Advisory will likely be required for the coastal
waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Wednesday. A Small Craft
Advisory will likely be required for all Keys coastal waters
Wednesday night.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time for Thursday.

.NOW...
Through 830 pm, widely separated showers will affect the Florida
Keys, as well as nearshore and offshore waters surrounding the island
chain. These showers will move to the west-southwest at around 15
knots. The strongest showers will produce wind gusts near 30 knots
and moderate rain, temporarily reducing the visibility to near three
miles. Over land, the most likely area to see rainfall will be from
Key Largo to Ocean Reef. The majority of showers will be located over
the coastal waters of the offshore Gulf of Mexico, northwest of the
Lower Keys.

ADVISORY, WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 6 AM EDT
SUNDAY.

* WINDS...EAST WINDS 15 TO 20 KNOTS EARLY, INCREASING TO NEAR 20
  KNOTS.

* WAVES/SEAS...SEAS TONIGHT WILL BUILD UP TO 2 TO 4 FEET IN HAWK
  CHANNEL, AND AROUND 7 FEET IN THE CHANNELS AROUND REBECCA SHOAL
  LIGHT AND THE DRY TORTUGAS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OF 20 TO 33 KNOTS...
OR SEAS OF 7 FEET OR GREATER...ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE HAZARDOUS
CONDITIONS FOR SMALL CRAFT. INEXPERIENCED BOATERS...ESPECIALLY
THOSE WITH SMALLER VESSELS...SHOULD AVOID OPERATING IN THESE
CONDITIONS.
