Rip Currents: There is a high risk of rip currents for all Atlantic and Gulf beaches today. High Surf: Elevated surf is likely across Palm Beaches today with breaking waves between 5 to 7 feet. Thunderstorms: Isolated thunderstorms will be possible today as a cold front moves across the region. Lightning is the primary hazard with any thunderstorms. Marine: Hazardous marine conditions will return behind a cold front today. Increasing winds with gusts to near gale force and building seas are expected. Non-thunderstorm wind: Breezy winds will prevail through the afternoon as a cold front pushes through the area. Gusts up to 30 kts could be possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. An elevated risk of rip currents will remain in place through most of the week for the Atlantic beaches. Hazardous marine conditions could linger through the end of this week. Gusts will be possible to near gale force through the end of this week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
