Western Interior-Mayaguez and Vicinity-Southwest-Culebra-Vieques-
The nearshore and off shore Atlantic and Caribbean Coastal Waters-

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Puerto Rico and the adjacent
Atlantic Coastal Waters.

.Day One...Today and Tonight

.Wind...Sustained winds in excess of 20 MPH expected across portions
of the Atlantic and Caribbean Waters during the afternoon hours.

.Rip Currents...There is a moderate risk of rip currents for some
north facing beaches of Puerto Rico, Culebra and Vieques.

.Days Two through Seven...Thursday through Tuesday

A high risk of rip currents will return to the north coasts on
Saturday. The potential for heavy rainfall could increase late
Thursday afternoon into the weekend as a frontal boundary is forecast
to move close to the local islands.

.Spotter information statement...

Widespread spotter activation is not anticipated, however individual
spotter are encouraged to report high winds and Rip Currents to the
National Weather Service in San Juan.
