This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Puerto Rico and the adjacent
Atlantic Coastal Waters.

.Day One...Today and Tonight

.Thunderstorms...There is a chance of thunderstorms with heavy
rainfall and gusty winds this afternoon across the eastern half and
northwest Puerto Rico and the local waters.

.Flooding...Heavy rains could lead to urban and small stream
flooding and rapid rises on major rivers.

.Wind...Periods of sustained winds in excess of 20 MPH are expected
across most of the local waters.

.Waves...Choppy/Rough seas up to 8 feet expected across the Atlantic
and Caribbean outer waters.

.Heat...Heat indices of 102 degrees Fahrenheit are possible in the
interior of western Puerto Rico.

.Rip Currents...There is a moderate risk of rip currents for nearly
all beaches in Puerto Rico, Culebra and Vieques. The low risk exists
around Mayaguez.

.Days Two through Seven...Wednesday through Monday

Very wet weather will continue through Wednesday with thunderstorms
likely each afternoon. The risk of rip currents will increase Thursday
or Friday.


.Spotter information statement...

Widespread spotter activation is not anticipated, however individual
spotter are encouraged to report High winds,Flooding, Waterspouts, Rip
Currents to the National Weather Service in San Juan.
