The nearshore and off shore Atlantic and Caribbean Coastal Waters-

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Puerto Rico and the adjacent
Atlantic Coastal Waters.

.Day One...Today and Tonight

.Thunderstorms...There is a chance of thunderstorms with heavy rainfall
and brief gusty winds.

.Flooding...Heavy rains could lead to urban flooding. Sharp rises along
small streams and rivers are also likely. Mudslides in areas of steep
terrain are possible across northwest Puerto Rico where soils are already
saturated.

.Wind...Sustained winds in excess of 20 MPH expected across the local
waters. Locally higher in showers and thunderstorms.

.Waves...Seas up to 6 feet are expected across the Caribbean waters.
Locally higher in showers and thunderstorms.

.Rip Currents...There is a moderate risk of rip currents along northwest
and southwest Puerto Rico as well as Vieques and Culebra.

.Days Two through Seven...Sunday through Friday

Environmental conditions will remain favorable for periods of showers
and thunderstorms on Sunday, therefore flooding is still possible. A
moderate risk of rip currents continues tonight increasing to high by
Sunday. Weather conditions expected to improve early the upcoming work
week.

.Spotter information statement...

Widespread spotter activation is not anticipated, however individual
spotter are encouraged to report Flooding and Rip Currents to the
National Weather Service in San Juan.
