This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Puerto Rico and the adjacent
Atlantic Coastal Waters.

.Day One...Today and Tonight

.Flooding...Moderate to locally heavy rainfall is possible across the
interior and western portions of the island this afternoon. This will
result in at least ponding of water in roads and in poor drainage

.Waves...Choppy seas up to 6 feet are expected mainly across the
Atlantic waters and portions of the Anegada and Mona Passages.

.Rip Currents...There is a high risk of rip currents from the
northwest coast to the San Juan area beaches.

.Days Two through Seven...Friday through Wednesday

A long period swell from the northwest will create hazardous seas
across the regional waters through the weekend. This swell will create
large breaking waves along the Atlantic beaches of the islands along
with a high risk of rip currents. Choppy seas will continue through
early next week across the regional waters.

.Spotter information statement...

Widespread spotter activation is not anticipated, however individual
spotter are encouraged to report flooding, waterspout and rip
currents to the National Weather Service in San Juan.
