This hazardous weather outlook is for South Florida.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Thunderstorms: Scattered to numerous thunderstorms, with best chances
over interior and Gulf Coast areas this afternoon. A few thunderstorms
could be strong. The primary threats are lightning and gusty winds.

Waterspouts: Conditions are favorable for the development of
waterspouts over the Atlantic waters including Biscayne Bay.

Wind: Thunderstorms could produce brief gusty winds of 40 to 50 mph.

Temperatures: Maximum heat index values this afternoon of around 100
degrees will be possible across much of the Gulf Coast and interior
areas.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast each day, with the
highest coverage during afternoons and evenings. The primary threat
will be lightning, although gusty winds and locally heavy rain are
also possible.
