This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Lake Erie, Lake
Huron and Lake St Clair.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Mainly dry today with just a few isolated thunderstorms possible
this afternoon. Should any storms develop, severe weather is not
expected, but overachieving gusts pose the primary conditional
threat given the evaporative cooling potential. Storm motion would
be from north to south at around 35 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

A potentially hazardous and prolonged heat wave appears likely next
week as daily high temperatures climb well into the 90s Monday
through Thursday with peak afternoon heat indices at/above 100F.
Overnight lows should also be quite warm starting Monday night,
remaining above 70F each night.

Opportunities exist for periods of thunderstorms next week with very low
confidence on specifics at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight.
