This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey and southeast New York.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop ahead of a cold
front and move through the region Friday afternoon and evening. Some
thunderstorms could be strong to severe, capable of producing gusty
to damaging winds and brief downpours. Localized flash flooding will
be possible.

The first heat wave of the season may start on Tuesday with peak
heat index values above 95 possible.
