At 2 AM, a 1015 MB high was 100 NM northwest of San Francisco, and a 1002 mb low was near Needles. Instability and moisture associated with a weak wave moving up from the south will bring a slight chance of thunderstorms this morning, mainly over the outer coastal waters. Weak onshore flow will continue today but strengthen Sunday through Tuesday when winds over parts of the outer coastal waters could gust to around 20-25 kt each afternoon and evening. Weak onshore flow will return Wednesday. $$
