Synopsis: A generally light to moderate onshore wind flow will continue over the marine area through late week as a surface high pressure ridge remains just to the north and east of the coastal waters. Scattered showers and thunderstorms can be expected through much of the period as well. The primary weather concern for much of the week will continue to be the potential for dense sea fog to persist near shore. A cold front will potentially move east across the marine area early this weekend, with onshore winds increasing slightly, along with building seas late in the week, before winds shift to the northwest during the day on Saturday. rains ending.
