A vigorous storm system will track across the Rockies into the Plains Wednesday into Thursday. Damaging winds will be possible from New Mexico east across portions of western Texas, eastern Colorado, Kansas, and Oklahoma. Widespread rain, locally heavy will spread up the eastern seaboard bringing the threat for flooding, especially over areas that received recent heavy snow.
