A persistent low pressure system and front along the Gulf Coast is producing persistent rain across much of Texas. Heavy rain, at times, in central Texas will exacerbate ongoing flooding. Meanwhile, cold fronts from Canada will continue to bring below to much below normal temperatures to much of the U.S., especially, in the Central and Northeast.
