Severe weather expected in the Southern Plains on Sunday

The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a Moderate Risk of severe weather (next-to-highest threat level) in the Southern Plains on Sunday. The area of greatest concern is in north Texas and central Oklahoma, including the Oklahoma City metro area. Numerous severe thunderstorms with very large hail, tornadoes, and damaging winds are expected into the late evening hours.
