Synopsis: The shortwave with an associated frontal band of heavy precipitation will continue to progress northeast across the gulf, lifting out of the Panhandle tonight into Friday. A weak ridge of high pressure will then begin to build south of the Panhandle before an additional shortwave moves east across the gulf and impacts the area on Saturday.
