Thunderstorms will produce locally heavy rainfall and possibly some flash flooding across central portions of the country through tonight, with a few strong to locally severe thunderstorms possible. Otherwise, smoke from the wildfires burning across western North America will continue to create poor air quality across northern portions of the country.
