A frontal system will bring heavy precipitation, including mountain snowfall to much of the Pacific Northwest, northern California, and portions of the Rockies through Tuesday. Tonight: Southwest wind 15 to 20 knots. Gusts up to 30 knots. Partly cloudy. Waves 1 to 2 feet building to 2 to 4 feet in the late evening and early morning, then subsiding to 1 to 2 feet early in the morning.

Tuesday: West wind 15 to 20 knots easing to 10 to 15 knots late in the afternoon. Gusts up to 25 knots. Sunny. Waves 1 to 2 feet.

Tuesday Night: West wind 15 to 20 knots veering northwest late in the evening, then becoming northwest 15 to 20 knots after midnight easing to 10 to 15 knots early in the morning. Gusts up to 25 knots. Clear through around midnight then becoming partly cloudy. Waves 1 to 2 feet.

Wednesday: North wind 10 to 15 knots with gusts to around 20 knots becoming north 10 to 15 knots late in the morning, then easing to 5 to 10 knots early in the afternoon veering northeast late in the afternoon. Partly sunny. Waves 1 to 2 feet. wave heights are for ice free areas.
