


Potential for Severe Weather and Heavy Rain in the South this Weekend
A low pressure system moving across the southern Gulf States will bring a threat of isolated severe thunderstorms containing hail and damaging winds this weekend. Fire Weather threats remain elevated for portions of western Texas and along the New Mexico border on Saturday. Cooler than normal temperatures continue in the east, while above normal temperatures are forecast for the west coast.
