Critical fire weather conditions will continue over portions of California today. Very strong winds with gusts over 60 mph combined with dry humidity values will create an environment conducive to extreme fire danger and explosive fire growth over southern California. Monday: Southwest wind 10 to 15 knots with gusts to around 25 knots. Patchy fog. Waves 2 to 3 feet.

Monday Night: Southwest wind 15 to 25 knots with gusts to around 30 knots. Chance of showers. Waves 3 to 5 feet.

Tuesday: West wind 10 to 20 knots with gusts to around 30 knots. Chance of showers. Waves 4 to 6 feet. see the open lakes forecast for days 3 through 5.
