Heavy Rain In The Plains; Poor Air Quality Out West
A slow moving weather system in the central U.S. will bring locally heavy rain to much of the Plains this weekend. Isolated flash flooding is possible in this area. Meanwhile, smoke from ongoing wildfires will continue to cause poor air quality across much of the interior West, although fire weather conditions are generally improving in this region.
