Heavy Snow For Portions of the Northeast; Great Lakes

Moderate to heavy snow will return to the Northeast and New England over the next couple of days. Heavy Lake Effect Snow will continue to the lee of the Great Lakes. Light snow will fall across portions of the Tennessee Valley; working into the Mid-Atlantic by mid-week. Meanwhile, elevated fire weather conditions will continue in southern California.

Tuesday: Northwest winds to 30 knots. A chance of snow in the morning. Waves 4 to 7 feet. Waves occasionally around 9 feet.

Tuesday Night: Northwest winds to 30 knots diminishing to 15 to 25 knots. A chance of snow showers in the evening. Waves 4 to 7 feet subsiding to 3 to 6 feet. Waves occasionally around 9 feet.

Wednesday: Northwest winds 15 to 25 knots becoming west. A chance of snow showers in the afternoon. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet.
