Heavy Snow For Portions of the Northeast; Great Lakes

Moderate to heavy snow will return to the Northeast and New England over the next couple of days. Heavy Lake Effect Snow will continue to the lee of the Great Lakes. Light snow will fall across portions of the Tennessee Valley; working into the Mid-Atlantic by mid-week. Meanwhile, elevated fire weather conditions will continue in southern California.

Wednesday Night: West winds around 5 knots then becoming southwest around 5 knots after midnight. Bay and inland waters smooth.

Thursday: Southwest winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop.

Thursday Night: Southwest winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. A slight chance of showers.

Friday: Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots then becoming west around 15 knots in the afternoon. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. A chance of showers.

Friday Night: North winds around 15 knots. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop.

Saturday: Northeast winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop.
