Wet Pattern Over The Northeast U.S., Inclement Weather To Return To The West Coast

A series of storms will bring rain and gusty winds to the Northeast U.S. for the next couple of days. The combination of snow-melt and rain will bring potential for flooding on main stem rivers, especially in northern New England. An active weather pattern will resume over the West Coast this weekend and continue into early next week. Rain, high elevation snow, and gusty winds will be possible.

Thursday: North to northeast winds 5 to 10 knots, becoming variable in the afternoon. Seas 1 foot or less. Nearshore waters smooth to a light chop. Isolated showers.

Thursday Night: South to southwest winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 1 foot or less. Nearshore waters smooth to a light chop. Isolated showers.

Friday: Southwest to west winds near 10 knots. Seas around 1 foot. Nearshore waters a light chop. Scattered showers.

Friday Night: West winds 10 knots. Seas around 1 foot. nearshore waters a light chop. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Saturday: Northwest to north winds near 10 knots. Seas 1 to 2 feet. Nearshore waters a light chop. Scattered showers.
