Severe Thunderstorms and Flash Flooding Possible Across the Mid Mississippi Valley and Portions of the Carolinas Today; Hot Temperatures Continue Across Portions of the Southeast

Low Pressure moving across the Mid Mississippi Valley may produce severe thunderstorms and additional flash flooding in areas that saw heavy rainfall over recent days. Additional severe thunderstorms and some flash flooding is possible across the Carolinas later today. Heat Advisories continue for portions of the Southeast, where the heat index may climb to between 105 and 110 degrees.
