Excessive Rainfall Possible in Multiple Spots, While Heat Lingers and Builds in Other Areas
A ridge of high pressure, that brought Summer-Heat to the Midwest/East over the weekend, is attempting to survive from the Mid MS Valley to Southeast. Around this ridge, several spots will be vulnerable for intense excessive rainfall. A constant surge of Tropical Moisture inundates the TX Gulf Coast and a system will relocate from the northern to central Plains to interact with a Midwest front.
