Mixed Precipitation is moving eastward into New England,

Wintry precipitation will expand into the eastern portions of the Great Lakes and New England Tuesday into Tuesday night. An inclement weather pattern will produce coastal rain and higher elevation snow in the Pacific Northwest and Northern California on Tuesday, and into the Northern Intermountain Region by Wednesday.

Tonight: South winds 5 to 10 knots becoming northwest 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Seas around 2 feet. Period 6 seconds. Intracoastal waters a light chop. Scattered showers.

Wednesday: North northeast winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet with occasional seas to 5 feet. Period 4 seconds. Intracoastal waters a light chop. A chance of showers.

Wednesday Night: North northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet with occasional seas to 6 feet building to 5 to 7 feet with occasional seas to 9 feet after midnight. Period 5 seconds. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop. A chance of showers in the evening...then a slight chance of showers after midnight.

Thursday: Northeast winds 15 to 25 knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet with occasional seas to 9 feet. Intracoastal waters rough in exposed areas.
