Heavy Rain and Flooding in the Southern Plains to the Great Lakes

Several days of heavy rainfall will lead to flash flooding and river flooding from the Southern Plains to the Southern Great Lakes. A band of freezing rain is forecast across portions of the Southern Plains into the Middle Mississippi Valley.

Thursday Night: East winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet with occasional seas up to 6 feet. Dominant period 8 seconds. Inland waters a light chop. A chance of showers after midnight.

Friday: East southeast winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet with occasional seas up to 6 feet. Inland waters a light chop. A slight chance of showers.
