Synopsis...GREATER FARALLONES...AND CORDELL BANK NATIONAL MARINE SANCTUARIES...

HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE EASTERN PACIFIC WILL MAINTAIN A STRONG SURFACE PRESSURE GRADIENT ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS. STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS EXPECTED THROUGH MUCH OF THE WEEK WITH THE STRONGEST WINDS ANTICIPATED OVER THE OFFSHORE WATERS AND ALONG THE BIG SUR COAST. THE STRONG WINDS WILL PRODUCE A FRESH SWELL.

Overnight: SSE wind around 6 kt. Cloudy.

Friday: SE wind 8 to 17 kt, with gusts as high as 26 kt. Showers.

Friday Night: SE wind 12 to 17 kt. Showers.

Saturday: ESE wind 8 to 12 kt becoming NNE in the afternoon. Showers likely.

Saturday Night: NNE wind 5 to 8 kt becoming variable and less than 5 kt after midnight. Partly cloudy.

Sunday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming WSW 5 to 9 kt in the morning. Partly sunny.

Sunday Night: W wind 5 to 9 kt becoming NNW after midnight. Mostly clear.

Monday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming W 5 to 8 kt in the morning. Sunny.
