Heavy Rain and Potential for Flash Flooding in the Southwest and Central U.S.

Strong to severe thunderstorms are forecast to develop along a frontal system stretching from portions of the Mississippi Valley into the Ohio Valley. These storms may produce heavy rain and flash flooding. The threat shifts east on Friday. Moonsoon moisture will continue to produce heavy rain with the possibility of localized flash flooding in the Four Corners area.
