Synopsis...WINDS AND SEAS WILL INCREASE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING SOUTH OF CAPE BLANCO AS A THERMAL TROUGH REMAINS ALONG THE SOUTH COAST. WINDS AND SEAS WILL INCREASE FURTHER ON TUESDAY...WITH GALES POSSIBLE SOUTH OF CAPE BLANCO. INCOMING LOW PRESSURE ON WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY WILL DISRUPT THE THERMAL TROUGH AND HELP WINDS AND SEAS TO SUBSIDE.

Today...N wind 15 to 20 kt northern portion and N 20 to 25 kt southern portion. Wind waves 4 to 6 ft. Mixed swell W 1 to 2 ft at 9 seconds and S 1 to 2 ft at 14 seconds.

Tonight...N wind 15 to 20 kt northern portion and N 25 kt southern portion. Wind waves 4 to 6 ft. Mixed swell NW 2 ft at 10 seconds and S 1 ft at 13 seconds.

Tue...Northern portion...N wind 15 to 20 kt...rising to 20 to 25 kt in the afternoon. Southern portion...N wind 25 kt...rising to 30 kt in the afternoon. Wind waves 4 to 7 ft...building to 6 to 9 ft in the afternoon. Mixed swell NW 2 ft at 9 seconds and S 1 ft at 13 seconds.
