Critical fire weather conditions and unseasonably hot temperatures will be prevalent across parts of southern California early this week. Any fires that start in this area could quickly grow out of control; Red Flag Warnings and Heat Advisories are in effect. Meanwhile, heavy rain is forecast in parts of Texas through early Monday. Flash Flood Watches are in effect for portions of southwest Texas.
