Heat Advisories, and in some areas, Excessive Heat Warnings, continue today as hot temperatures and high humidity combine to create dangerous conditions. A slow-moving cold front from the Northeast to the northern Rockies will be the focus for potentially heavy rainfall this week, while tropical moisture moving into the western Gulf Coast will lead to an increased flash flood threat.
