A slow-moving low pressure center will shift into the Northeast today, bringing heavy rain to some areas, especially coastal Maine. The rain combined with snowmelt has increased the threat for flooding in parts of New England. At the southern end of the front, isolated strong-to-severe thunderstorms are possible in the Rio Grande Valley in Texas today.
