...GALE WARNING IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE THIS AFTERNOON...
Synopsis: Strong southerly gales persisting in the Bering Strait through
this evening, then weakening. This low heads into the Chukchi Sea
this evening as a 982 mb low. Near gale force wind from the
south-southwest continues through tonight in the Chukchi Sea.
Wind will quickly diminish on Thursday as the low moves out of the
area. Another front will approach Saint Lawrence Island on
Friday.
