Synopsis: A 979 mb low lifts across Northeast Russia and into the Chukchi
Sea this morning. What remains of a dissipating front tracks into
the coast of Southwest Alaska through this afternoon. A new 1000
mb low develops over the northern Bering roughly 150 nm WSW of
Saint Matthew Island on Fri morning.
