A strong low pressure system will bring heavy rain, gusty winds, and thunderstorms along the east coast. Isolated severe thunderstorms could produce damaging winds and a few tornadoes in the Southeast. Heavy rains may result in excessive runoff and flash flooding. Building high pressure out west will produce above normal temperatures, especially, in the Pacific Northwest.
