Scattered Thunderstorms Across the Eastern U.S. Today; Risk for Some Severe Thunderstorms and Flash Flooding
A cold front moving through the eastern U.S. will bring thunderstorms and heavy rainfall to that part of the country today, with localized flash flooding possible from the Northeast to the Deep South. Severe thunderstorms are possible across the Northeast and northern Mid-Atlantic. Out west, windy, dry conditions are keeping fire weather threats elevated.
