Storm system to bring heavy rainfall and the potential for flash flooding over the southern Mid Atlantic and Southeast U.S.
A slow moving low pressure system will bring the threat for heavy rainfall, flash flooding, and a few strong to severe thunderstorms into Tuesday. The main threat areas include the southern Mid Atlantic and Southeast U.S. Excessive runoff may lead to flooding of low lying areas, rivers, and streams.
