Rain and Ongoing Flood Concerns in Texas

Pockets of moderate to heavy rain will persist in Texas through Friday and perhaps extend into the upcoming weekend. Gulf of Mexico moisture continues to overrun a stationary front to produce waves of precipitation. The most vulnerable location in Texas continues to be the saturated Hill Country in the central portion of the state. Flash Flood Watches are in effect here until Friday morning.
